Parnell Trust After School Programmes


During the term an After School Programme is run daily from 3.00pm to 6.00pm in the school hall
located at:  Newmarket Primary School Hall,  6 Seccombes Rd, Newmarket. 
New enrolments can be made at the school hall from 2.50pm each day.

A variety of planned activities, homework time, craft and free play are included each day.  Afternoon tea is provided.  Staff have been trained in matters of child protection, behaviour guidance and First Aid.  Staff ratios are set to 1:10 as a minimum. 

Our aim is to be effective and sympathetic in meeting the needs of parents/caregivers and children without compromising our staff or our quality standards.

As well as full week enrolments, bookings are available for part weeks or single days.  Prior enrolment is essential.

Highly reccommended by Child, Youth and Family, the programmes are supported by OSCAR funding from the Ministry of Social Development.  Families are able to apply for a WINZ subsidy.
