Daily Absences

Parents are requested to notify the school office each day of their child's absence or lateness,  prior to 9am. 
There is a telephone absence line that is able to be accessed at any time of day/night for parents to leave a detailed message on the school telephone number 09- 520 2959.

If there is a need for an extended length of absence, such as an overseas trip, a request should be made in writing to the Principal. 

Parents who require to take a child out of school during school hours, for example a dental appointment, must arrange to collect them from the school office at a specified time and they must be signed out. 
A Sign In/Out book is located at the office reception counter.

Parents should notify teachers of these appointments prior to the time or as early in the school day as is practicable.

All visitors to the school are required to Sign In on arrival.  This is an OSH (Health and Safety) requirement.
